Payment Policy:
(A) 100% payment is mandatory to confirm the booking.
(B) Part payments can be done in 2 parts for pre-bookings:-
Block your dates with a 50% advance payment of your total booking amount If booking date is over 30days. This amount is Non-refundable.
Complete your 100% amount 15 days prior to your check in date. Failure to complete the payment shall terminate your booking and the advance shall be forfeited.
In event of non payment of the complete booking amount, Caravill reserves the right to unblock the dates and take fresh new bookings.
(C) Payment of bookings for public holidays peak dates need to be done in full to confirm your booking.
(D) GST/ taxes/ conveyance fee applicable on all bookings.
-Caravill will do its best to accommodate any reasonable modifications or changes, but the Guest should be aware that some changes may not be possible. Charges may also apply.
Note: a shortening of stay for any reason the terms for cancellation policy will be applicable.
COVID Policy:
Incase of rise in Covid cases or change of rules and regulations by the government,
- If your booking date is within a period of 30 days, You shall be presented with a credit note of your advance amount paid, which can be redeemed at any point with in 1 year (excluding long weekends, peak dates and public holidays).
- If the booking dates are over the 30 day period, a refund of your advance shall be initiated. The refund shall be processed within 30 days of the cancellation notice.
- Covid policies shall be applicable only in regards to travel restrictions/ lockdown or any rules that prevents travel. Personal reasons are not to be combined with this policy.
Check-In policy:
Mandatory steps shall be followed at the check in.
- Guests are required to share government approved id cards of each person at the time of booking andsubmit the same at the property during their check in.
- Acknowledging the Rules and guidelines of the property and signing a self declaration form.
- A security deposit needs to be submitted which shall be 100% refundable, and shall be refunded within48hrs of your check out after a thorough inspection of the property.
Refund, Cancellation & Credit Policy – Caravill
At Caravill, we facilitate bookings for villas, apartments, and adventure experiences across India. This policy governs cancellations, refunds, future credits, and legal responsibilities.
1. Booking Confirmation

Bookings are confirmed only after full or partial payment

Confirmation details are shared via email/SMS
2. Cancellation Policy (Accommodation)

More than 30 days before check-in: 100% refundable (excluding service fees)

Within 30 days of check-in: Non-refundable and non-amendable
3. Special Booking Conditions
The following bookings are strictly non-refundable and non-amendable:

Public holidays and peak dates

Promotional or discounted bookings

Limited-time or special offer bookings
4. Advance Payment

Upon cancellation, any advance amount paid shall be forfeited

The amount cannot be adjusted against future bookings or exchanges
5. Personal or Circumstantial Cancellations

In case of cancellation due to personal reasons (including travel changes, health issues, or other circumstances),
the standard cancellation policy will apply without exception
6. Pandemic / Covid Policy

For cancellations due to pandemics (including COVID-19),
please refer to the separate Covid Policy, if applicable at the time of booking
7. Adventure Activities Cancellation

More than 72 hours before activity: 100% refund (excluding service fees)

24–72 hours: 50% refund

Less than 24 hours: No refund
8. Future Credit (Caravill Wallet)

Customers may opt for Caravill Future Credit instead of a refund (only where applicable)

Credit validity: 12 months (1 year) from date of issue

Non-transferable and not redeemable for cash

Cannot be issued where bookings are marked non-refundable
9. Gift Cards

Valid for 6–12 months from date of issue

Non-refundable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash

Lost or expired gift cards will not be replaced
10. Rescheduling Policy

Allowed only where the booking is eligible for amendment

Subject to availability and approval

Price differences must be paid by the customer
11. Cancellation by Caravill or Partner
If a booking is canceled due to:

Property unavailability

Safety concerns
-
Weather conditions (for activities)

Partner issues
Customers will receive:

Full refund, or

Future credit, or
-
Alternate booking option
12. No-Show Policy

Failure to check-in or attend without notice will be treated as a no-show

No refunds will be provided
13. Refund Processing

Refunds processed within 5–10 business days

International refunds may take 10–15 business days

Amount credited to original payment method
14. International Payments & Security

All international transactions are processed in INR (Indian Rupees)

Payments may go through 3D Secure (3DS) authentication for enhanced security

Currency conversion charges, bank fees, and gateway charges are non-refundable
-
Any applicable taxes (including TCS – Tax Collected at Source) may be collected as per Indian regulations
15. Service Fees

Platform/service fees are non-refundable, except when cancellation is initiated by Caravill
16. Force Majeure
Caravill shall not be liable for cancellations caused by:

Natural disasters

Government restrictions
-
Pandemics
-
Travel bans or strikes
Refunds are not guaranteed in such cases.
17. Liability Disclaimer

Caravill acts solely as an intermediary platform

We do not own or operate listed properties or activities

Not liable for:

Injury, accidents, or death
-
Property loss or theft
-
Third-party service issues
-
All activities are undertaken at the customer’s own risk
18. Indemnity Clause
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Caravill from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

Use of services

Participation in activities
-
Breach of terms
19. Chargebacks & Disputes

Users must contact Caravill before initiating chargebacks

Fraudulent or unjustified disputes may result in:

Account suspension
-
Legal recovery action
-
20. Fraud & Abuse Protection
Caravill reserves the right to:

Deny refunds in suspected fraud cases

Cancel bookings violating policies
-
Suspend accounts misusing credits or offers
21. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
